FEBRUARY 1st, 2010
It's little man's 10th birthday. Mr. Cameron Ash turned 10 yesterday and I'll have you know they had no school again. His day started off with a visit to the orthopedic specialist for his wrist injury from football season. He has been cleared to play baseball. He was pretty happy about that. Still kinda stiff and needs to work on his wrist exercises but nothing he can't fix in time. Mike & I had to work but he spent the day with our good friends Blu & Heather and their kiddos. They went sledding in the snow and got stuck right off the bat. Not only did the truck they were in get stuck but the tow truck that came to save them got stuck too. Sounds like an eventful day, they said it lasted about 4 hours. Cameron wanted to go to dinner at Chili's so after work we met up for some dinner and hung out. While enjoying some grub once again we found out no school for Tuesday. Cameron ended up staying the night with Jake. Not a lot to do since we have to work. Sounds like the weather has but a damper on two birthdays this year. We've got some catching up to do this weekend, hopefully the weather will play along. I must say Cameron is one of the coolest kids I know. He knows this happens almost every year that the weather affects birthday party planning and he's been a real trooper.
